Getting to Seseh from Canggu, Seminyak and Uluwatu

From Canggu

From Seminyak

Seminyak sits a little further south again, and the drive up to Seseh generally takes somewhat longer than from Canggu — plan for it to take a bit more time, and treat any specific number you see online as a rough guide rather than a guarantee, since it depends heavily on the time of day you travel.

From Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot is one of the closer well-known landmarks to Seseh geographically, and many visitors combine a Tanah Lot sunset visit with a stop in Cemagi on the same day, given how the two sit along a similar stretch of coastline.

From Uluwatu

Uluwatu is the furthest of these four areas from Seseh, down at the southern tip of the peninsula, so a visit from there generally means a longer drive than from Canggu or Seminyak. If you’re staying in Uluwatu, it’s worth building a Seseh visit into a fuller day trip rather than a quick add-on, simply because of the extra distance involved.

Choosing how to get there

• Renting a scooter. The most flexible option if you’re comfortable riding in Bali traffic, with the advantage of easy parking once you arrive — there’s parking on site at the studio.
• A private driver. A comfortable, low-effort option for longer distances such as from Uluwatu or Seminyak, especially if you’re travelling with others or don’t want to navigate yourself.
• Ride-hailing apps. Widely used across Bali and generally straightforward for a one-way trip to Seseh, though availability in quieter areas like Cemagi can be more limited than in central Canggu or Seminyak.

Whichever way you travel, treat any drive time you see quoted online as an approximate range, not a fixed schedule — Bali’s roads can move very differently depending on the hour.

Timing your visit around opening hours

The studio is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00, closed on Sundays. Whatever route you’re taking and wherever you’re coming from, it’s worth building a little buffer into your travel time and booking your appointment on Fresha ahead of arrival, rather than assuming a same-day slot will be available.

A note on traffic patterns

Bali’s roads, like most tourist regions, tend to be busiest around midday and again in the early evening, particularly on routes connecting the more built-up areas like Canggu and Seminyak. Leaving a little earlier than you think you need to, especially for a fixed appointment time, is generally a safer approach than cutting it close. If you’re coming from further away, such as Uluwatu, treating the drive itself as part of the day’s plan — rather than an afterthought — tends to make the whole trip feel less rushed.
